What do you need to rent a vehicle in Colombia?
R / The minimum requirements for renting a vehicle are: be over 25 years old, present the original driver’s license, present your original citizenship card or passport and a credit card with space available for a deposit depending on the category of the vehicle . How new are your vehicles?
Our cars have a maximum age of 23 months.
How safe are your vehicles?
Our vehicles have been carefully chosen and all our vehicles are maintained in authorized dealers with only original spare parts to ensure the safety of our customers. All of fleet is renewed every 18 months so as to ensure you are driving a recent and safe vehicle.
Can I deliver the vehicle to a different office from where I picked it up?
Yes you can, please ask your agent for the drop off service or on our page select a different office for delivery.

How and where should I return the vehicle I rented?
The vehicle is delivered clean and with a full gas tank. In principle you must return in the same place and under the same conditions. We understand that during your trip the vehicle can get dirty, however, if delivered in a state of dirt beyond reasonable (with excess mud on the sides, windows and fenders, or with the interior with excess mud, boronas or other brands of dirt) a charge will be applied to clean the vehicle.
There are some offices that have the DROP OFF service between cities (collected in one city and return in another), so it is recommended to confirm with your rental agent at the beginning of your rental, taking into account that the costs vary depending on the cities.
What precautions should I have with my rented vehicle?
For your own safety you must be careful to follow and comply with all traffic regulations.
For greater economy of your fuel, avoid strong accelerations or sudden braking as this may cause that the vehicles that come behind you, collide with yours.
It is prohibited to transport explosives, dangerous substances, illegal substances and any load that exceeds the capacity of the vehicle. Incurring any of these offenses is considered a breach of contract and may be subject to the criminal and civil sanctions stipulated in Colombian law.
Near the beach, please avoid coming in contact with salt water as it is very corrosive and damages the vehicle. Similarly avoid sitting with wet clothes inside the vehicle and in case the seats return with stain marks you may be subjected to a charge for cleaning it.
Inside our vehicles smoking is prohibited and in case the car is returned with the smell of smoke, a surcharge will be charged to deodorize and clean the vehicle.
What happens if I receive a traffic fine/ speed ticket?
If during the rental of the vehicle, you incur in a traffic fine or a speed ticket for example, you will be directly responsible for covering 100% of the value of fine. If you are outside the country, we will make the payment of the fine on your behalf and we will be issue you an invoice plus 10% for administrative fees.
What should I do if I have a collision / traffic accident?
In these cases, all our team is ready to help you. In these cases, please call our agents who will guide you through the process. Please do not move your vehicle or allow the third parties who have been involved to move them either. As soon as possible, take pictures of the place, of the vehicles from diferent angles and if there are any relevant road signs, please ensure those are clearly seen in the pictures.
